How Does It Work?

Scans are transmitted to FitTrace from the DXA machine.  Transmitting scans is easy and can be incorporated into the process of printing reports.  Although, you may want to eliminate printing reports and distribute reports electronically via FitTrace to save on printing costs.

  1. Scan the client.
  2. Transmit the scan to FitTrace, which can be incorporated into the printing process.
  3. FitTrace notifies the client that their scan is ready – by email and mobile notification.
  4. Client accesses their body composition measurement(s) via the FitTrace web and/or mobile apps.

NOTE: FitTrace provides FitTrace DXA Transfer software for electroncially transferring scans securely to your clients via the FitTrace Cloud.  The software resides on the DXA machine and encrypts scans as they are transmitted.

Engage Clients

FitTrace provides tools to engage your clients.  In most medical imaging settings a radiologist will interpret images.  For body composition, however, other professionals – such as nutritionists, personal trainers, athletic trainers, strength coaches and physicians – may be more appropriate.

FitTrace’s DXA Operator feature allows DXA facilities to easily work with appropriate professionals.  The facility specifies who has access to scans performed on its DXA machines.  Professionals can log in and provide interpretations, called “notes”, to clients.

Custom Reports

Do  you want custom reports?  FitTrace comes with two comprehensive reports that are customized with your logo.

Perhaps you want a unique report.  We can build a report that is available only to clients scanned on your DXA machine(s).
